of its needs and desires. We are the premier developer of baseball coaching and
training systems.
Baseball Player University was founded by Jeff
Forney in 2004 as another avenue to reach baseball athletes with his
nationally-recognized training techniques. A noted author and authority in the
study of explosive movements and their specific applications for baseball,
Forney has established one of the most progressive hitting and strength and
conditioning systems in the country through his parent company Triple Threat
Inc.
Forney’s 25 year-long baseball career includes:
Major League strength and conditioning coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks; six
years as an outfielder in the Cincinnati Reds organization, lastly playing at
the triple A level; assistant baseball coach and hitting instructor at Arizona
State University and at the University of Notre Dame.
Forney graduated with college All-American honors
and a degree in Exercise Science and Physiology from Florida Atlantic
University.
Forney has presented his training programs around
the country including circuit and in teaching camps with names such as Pete Rose
and Ozzie Smith. Forney hopes to erase the old attitudes regarding training and
conditioning for baseball and set into motion a newer, more sport-specific
system for training today and tomorrow’s athlete. |
